I just realised today that it has been more than one and a half months since I last posted That sucks huh. The reasons for this rather long hiatus? Hmm I dont really know. Oh well who gives a damn.
I also realised that I have more CCA points than a lot of people who actually need them (CCA points are required if we want accommodation on campus and the number of points decides where we get to live). Or to paraphrase it, with the little work I did without ever thinking about the points I was going to get for them, I have more points than those who consciously worked all year for points. Just shows what a farce this whole system is eh.
I bought some tea bags the other day to keep myself from starving when I woke up too late for breakfast/lunch or dinner. Since the package didnt mention anything about what we should put the tea bags in, I assumed it was water because, after all, water is the universal solvent and all that. For the first time, I did try with water and what I ended up with was some particularly bad black tea which I couldn’t sip twice.
After asking around, I found out that people had started using milk these days and that I would be well advised to use it too. So I went to the mart and found out that there were 5 different types of plain milk available. Since no one had told me what protein content of the milk makes the best tea, I didnt know which to choose so I just bought the carton which had pictures of cows on it because…well, for obvious reasons.
So I poured out some milk in a cup and put a tea bag in it and kept stirring. 5 minutes later I realised something was not right because, as little as I might be aware of of the art of tea making, I still knew that when I put a tea bag in milk, it should turn brown. But for some reason, the milk stayed white and the tea bag remained a tea bag. Hot milk. Damn it. So I put the cup, tea bag and all, inside the microwave and heated it for 2 minutes. Milk took on slight brown tinge, enough to satisfy me, so I drank the whole thing up. It still sucked. They should put some sugar in those things.
Making tea shouldn’t be so complicated :
